Our tax consultancy services are led by Joanne Rowan, who is a Chartered Tax Adviser specialising in direct taxation for companies and individuals. Joanne gained the majority of her experience whilst employed by Deloitte where she worked in a senior role for nearly 30 years before forming Rowan Consultants. Over the course of her career she has dealt with a wide range of clients: from companies which are household names, to local entrepreneurial businesses and their shareholders. This experience will now be used for the benefit of our clients.
Joanne believes in providing high quality tax advice, which is personal, flexible and at a fair value. This is supported by access to an extensive research library provided by a leading supplier of tax publications.

For Companies:
- Preparation of annual corporation tax computations and tax returns for submission to HM Revenue & Customs.
- Assistance with the calculation of tax provisions for inclusion in statutory accounts.
- Assistance with calculations to support internal tax provisions for management accounts or other regulatory purposes.
- Ad hoc projects to support existing company tax departments
For Individuals:
- Preparation of annual income tax returns for submission to HM Revenue & Customs.
- Capital Gains Tax Computations, including advice on available reliefs such as Entrepreneurs' Relief.
